LONDON-The Wireless Application Protocol Forum announced 11 new companies have joined the organization, and it appointed three additional members to its board of directors.
New to the board are Hiroshi Sakai, director and general manager of the Mobile Communications Engineering Division of DDI Corp.’s Engineering Group; Dr. Shuichi Shindo, senior vice president of NTT Mobile Communications Network Inc.’s Mobile Computing Business Department; and Terry Yu, vice president of product management and development for Sprint PCS.
