WASHINGTON-Intek License Acquisition Corp. apparently could be the big winner in the continuing auction of licenses for the 220 MHz.
At the end of round 67, Intek was the top bidder for two nationwide licenses and all of the regional licenses. Bidding on those licenses appears to have stopped, but is continuing on other licenses.
Intek bid $6.3 million for the two licenses. Intek’s bids for regional licenses total $4 million and range from $389,000 for the Northeast region and $959,000 for the Southeast region.
Sophia Licensee Inc. appears to have won the third and final nationwide license by bidding $2.5 million.
