Dear Editor:
I don’t know about you, but I’m getting a tad bit tired of hearing how upset Billy Tauzin, John McCain and others are with the FCC.
They, and we who elected them, chose to replace engineers and scientists at the commission with lawyers, economists and know-nothing bureaucrats. How could you expect the once venerable, feared and at the same time respected FCC to even pretend to function with any semblance or order or efficiency with a staff of greedy, self-absorbed political appointees with no knowledge of the wireless world?
Now that the “right” is upset, maybe it’s time to take a step back and see if the Laws of Physics can really be replaced with the “free market” approach.
