SAN DIEGO-Jabra Corp. said it has partnered with Samsung Telecommunications America to provide its EarSet and Smart Adapter for Samsung’s wireless SCH-1000 personal communications services handsets.
Samsung and Jabra plan to co-market the products as separate accessories that will be sold through Samsung’s distribution network, including Sprint PCS retail outlets and Radio Shack stores.
EarSet is a microphone and speaker unit that fits in the outer ear allowing hands-free communication. Smart Adapter is a specially designed cigarette lighter adapter that tailors sound for optimal clarity in the automotive environment, Jabra said.
