RESELLERS ASK FCC FOR ROAMING RIGHTS EQUAL TO CARRIERS

WASHINGTON-The Telecommunications Resellers Association said it asked the Federal Communication Commission to require wireless carriers to offer automatic roaming agreements on a nondiscriminatory basis.

TRA asserts that wireless resellers “have the same rights to purchase and resell roaming service as facilities-based carriers,” and that “resellers should be able to offer their own roaming services to carriers and resellers outside their home markets,” according to the organization.
