SANTA MONICA, Calif.-Angellcom said it began shipping its new line of alphanumeric and numeric pagers.
The Platinum is a four-line alphanumeric unit available in nine languages and has 100 mail drops. Its suggested retail price is $140. The two-line alphanumeric pager, called the Gold, is available in three languages and has 6 mail drops for $120.
The numeric pager, called the RoadRunner, is a small side-display key chain pager that offers a 240-character capacity and 20 messages for $50. All the pagers are available in VHF, UHF and 900 MHz FLEX and POCSAG.
Los Angeles-based paging carrier Digitcom Services recently received a shipment of RoadRunners, the first to hit the market, said Angellcom.
