NEW YORK-NEC Corp. said it will establish a joint venture company in India with Crompton Greaves Ltd., a leading electronics and telecommunications systems maker there.
The new company, NEC CG Telecom Systems Pvt. Ltd., is planned to be established in December in Bangalore, Karnatka. NEC will hold 51 percent of the company and CGL 49 percent. The venture is expected to manufacture 100 systems a year.
