TEL AVIV, Israel-Nexus Telecommunication Systems Ltd. said it plans to acquire Aptel Ltd., a private company owned primarily by DSP Group Inc., for 925,000 shares of Nexus stock.
The closing is expected next month.
Aptel develops wireless communications technologies and products for telemetry/SCADA and wireless messaging using Direct Sequence Spread Spectrum technology.
The company recently conducted successful trial installations of its products through a partnership with MobileMedia Corp.
