ARLINGTON HEIGHTS, Ill.-Motorola Inc.’s Cellular Infrastructure Group introduced a Code Division Multiple Access cellular base transmission system that supports about twice the capacity of current commercial CDMA networks, said the company.
Motorola currently is deploying the new SC 4840 base stations in Japan as part of a nationwide cdmaOne commercial network which is scheduled to begin service during the second quarter of 1998.
