STOCKHOLM, Sweden-L.M. Ericsson signed a contract to supply a telecommunications network including radio in the local loop to Telekomunikacja Polska S.A. The network will be installed in eastern Poland.
The agreement includes base stations and subscriber access equipment, with the first connections scheduled to be operational this fall. Installation is expected to be completed by March.
The companies said they expect average subscriber penetration to increase by 10 percent. Ericsson values the contract at $19 million.
