KING OF PRUSSIA, Pa.-InterDigital Communications Corp. has dismissed its chief executive officer, Gregory Webb, after only seven months in the position.
Prior to joining InterDigital, Webb was corporate vice president of Qualcomm Inc., where he was responsible for marketing, sales and strategic business relationships.
During the interim, InterDigital will be operated by President William Doyle, who has been with the company since 1991.
“InterDigital is at a critical point in its history, ” Doyle said. “We are on the verge of making this company a strong performer in the wireless communications industry. We have not delivered on that promise yet, but we are convinced we have the right strategy and resources to do so.”
