DALLAS-Paging Network Inc. announced it has chosen J. Walter Thompson of Chicago as the agency-of-record for its multimillion dollar advertising account.
The agency will be responsible for all aspects of marketing communications and will be instrumental in the launch of VoiceNow, PageNet’s new service that enables a pager-sized device to function as a portable, wireless answering machine based on FLEX technology, developed by Motorola Inc.
PageNet, based in Plano, Texas, is the nation’s largest paging carrier.
