DALLAS-Northern Telecom Inc. has entered into a three-year agreement to resell Motorola Inc.’s line of data frame relay access devices, or FRADS, which convert local area network and other data protocols to frame relay.
Nortel also said its new data and multimedia access strategy will include Motorola’s Vanguard FRADs with Nortel’s Magellan Access portfolio to create a comprehensive frame relay access solution.
The technologies will provide network users a reliable, cost-effective switched frame relay data network solution that out-performs traditional router-based configurations, Nortel said.
