SAN DIEGO-Pacific Communication Sciences Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Cirrus Logic Inc., announced it has signed a reseller agreement with Retix to provide personal Air Communications Technology narrowband personal communications services solutions to the paging industry.
PCSI said it will provide pACT infrastructure equipment, as well as all network integration services including installation, training and market activation. The company also will supply Retix’s IMpACT two-way messaging switch software, which provides high-performance message routing and mobility management.
The new service will facilitate pACT network deployment and enable paging service providers to offer high-capacity, wireless two-way messaging and paging capabilities to customers worldwide, said PCSI.
