APC WILL FORWARD TRADED-IN PHONES TO RECELLULAR INC.

DEXTER, Mich.-ReCellular Inc. announced it has reached an agreement with personal communications services provider American Personal Communications to acquire and remanufacture its traded-in cellular phones. The company said it will aggressively seek to acquire any traded-in cellular telephones, batteries and accessories owned by PCS providers.

APC now will ship traded-in cellular equipment directly to ReCellular’s remanufacturing center. ReCellular said it then will sell 20 percent of its remanufactured equipment to international markets and the remainder to many of North America’s wireless carriers and authorized dealers and agents.

“This agreement is an excellent example of how companies like APC can look to ReCellular to help them acquire new customers,” said Frank Stoup III, ReCellular’s president and chief operating officer.
