WEST CHESTER, Pa.-Baja Systems announced the release of its Personal Identification Number Management software.
PIN Management allows subscribers to add or change their PIN by entering the new number into the cellular phone without having to speak directly with a customer service representative, said Baja. The system verifies the authenticity of the subscriber prior to allowing any changes to the PIN database and guides subscribers through managing their PINs.
“This solution not only helps carriers combat cellular fraud, but makes it easy for subscribers to update their PIN and reduces reluctance by subscribers to use PIN numbers,” said Patrick A. O’Brien, Baja’s president and chief executive officer.
Carriers can reduce by half the customer service staffing levels needed to manage PINs.
