BEDMINSTER, N.J.-Bell Atlantic Nynex Mobile said it has introduced new AirBridge Cellular Digital Packet Data price plans, reducing usage charges by more than 70 percent from previously published rates.
Bell Atlantic Nynex said the new rates range from 4 cents to 15 cents per kilobyte, with monthly minimum usage charges as low as $15. Activation fees also have been reduced 30 percent-from $50 to $35 per unit. The new rates make wireless data more cost-effective for applications like Internet access, said the company.
