MLJ Inc. of Falls Church, Va., announced its new scanning personal communications services receiver, PathSearch, will soon be available. The product, designed for verifying radiofrequency coverage from candidate PCS sites, can also be used to measure microwave interference in the PCS band. PathSearch includes a high-sensitivity digital receiver, control software and laptop computer. The device interfaces with Trimble Navigation Ltd.’s Placer global positioning system receiver and dead-reckoning device for accurate positioning, MLJ said.
