ATLANTA-William E. Pallone has been appointed vice president, market deployment for GTE Mobilnet’s broadband personal communications services.
According to GTE Mobilnet, Pallone led GTE’s broadband PCS auction team resulting in licenses in the Atlanta, Cincinnati, Denver and Seattle major trading areas, covering a population of 19 million.
Pallone previously was general manager, 1.8 GHz PCS for GTE Personal Communications Services. All of GTE Corp.’s wireless services will be organized under GTE Mobilnet.
