Hedgehogging: hedge*hog*ging v. Interrupting conversations in an office enviornment by poking your head over the top of the cube

What’s more fun than following an FCC auction? Why following the aftermath of an FCC auction, that’s what. Now, no one really expected the recently completed 700 MHz auction to conclude without some glitches, but the ongoing brouhaha over AT&T Mobility and Verizon Wireless apparently now having too much spectrum and the D Block seeming to have been jinxed before the auction even began have proven especially juicy. Here’s hoping this all gets worked out soon so the FCC can get on with planning more spectrum auctions that we can only hope have half as much intrigue as this one.
