GoRemote to offer access to T-Mobile USA’s hot spots

MILPITAS, Calif.-GoRemote Internet Communications Inc. announced a deal that will allow its customers to use T-Mobile USA’s Wi-Fi hot spots.

The broadband access aggregator said it has added the carrier’s 6,000 U.S. hot spots to its network. GoRemote, which provides a single user interface and bill for enterprise users, said it now offers more than 60,000 wired and wireless access points in 150 countries.

T-Mobile has inked several similar deals with access aggregators in an effort to extend its reach to business users. IPass, a GoRemote competitor, has made the operator’s hot spots available to its users since 2003, and last year T-Mobile struck a distribution pact with six international carriers.

“Business professionals continue to tell us they want to stay connected in comfortable environments so they can access what matters most to them,” said Joe Sims, vice president and general manager of T-Mobile HotSpot.
