Sylvie Barak gets a demo of T-mobile’s HD2 phone from Eric at HTC
We caught up with T-Mobile to get a demo of the brand new HTC HD2, with its monster 4.3″ touchscreen display and super snappy 1GHz Snapdragon processor from Qualcomm. At 480 x 800 resolution on this little beauty, users can not only use the phone to surf the net, watch movies streamed directly from blockbuster and read E-books from Barnes and Noble, they can even play Guitar Hero. Boasting a 5-megapixel autofocus camera with dual LED flash, the phone also sports 448MB RAM, 512MB ROM, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 2.1 connectivity and GPS support for $200 with a two year T-Mobile contract. Wonder if the device will do well? Judging by the first couple of days, the HD2is flying off shelves faster than T-Mobile can stock them, with the carrier already admitting it had sold out. Not to worry though, more are likely on their way as we type.
