Another smart watch is hitting the market ahead of the holidays — Qualcomm says its Toq smartwatch will be available to order online starting December 2. The Toq is compatible with Android devices. Like other smart watches, it can display texts, emails, phone messages, and weather updates, and it comes with Bluetooth ear buds. Its reflective display technology called Mirasol its one of its biggest selling points.
The price tag is $349 so the Toq will cost about $50 more than Samsung’s Galaxy Gear smart watch, which is being sold by wireless carriers. Qualcomm is probably more focused on showing off its Mirasol display techology than in selling a large number of watches.
