BEDMINSTER, N.J.-Top executives of the wireless venture between Bell Atlantic Corp. and Nynex Corp. have been selected to lead the two companies as they combine their cellular service properties into a new, unnamed company.
Dennis Strigl, president and chief executive officer of Bell Atlantic Mobile, was appointed president and chief operating officer of the Bell Atlantic-Nynex partnership.
David Benson, vice president and chief financial officer of Nynex Mobile, was named vice president and chief financial officer of the new venture. Richard Lynch, vice president of network at BAM, was appointed executive vice president and chief technical officer.
