ALEXANDRIA, Va.-Metrocall Inc. introduced its One Touch advanced messaging service combining the benefits of nationwide paging services with the flexibility of a single telephone number.
The company said One Touch subscribers will be given a personal 800 number to route communications to their office, home, portable phone, facsimile or voice-mail box based on specific instructions. Calls may be directed to a pager, forwarded to a mobile or fixed phone, stored for later retrieval or connected in real time while the other party is holding, Metrocall said.
