BEDMINSTER, N.J.-Bell Atlantic Nynex Mobile, the new company comprised of the cellular operations of Bell Atlantic Corp. and Nynex Corp., announced it reduced roaming charges to 59 cents per minute and also eliminated daily roaming surcharges across its East Coast coverage area.
The company also announced it is calling its East Coast cellular system the “MobileReach” network. The 59-cent roaming charge within the MobileReach network is a reduction of up to 40 percent for cellular customers, Bell Atlantic Nynex Mobile said.
