JACKSON, Miss.-Prince, the Holland, Mich., supplier of automotive interior systems, and SkyTel Corp., the Jackson, Miss., wireless messaging service provider, said they have agreed to form an alliance to develop and manufacture an advanced, affordable automotive security and communications system.
Prince will produce hardware components of the system for sale to vehicle manufacturers beginning in mid-1996. SkyTel said it will provide a range of advanced two-way paging and information services for the system through its SkyTel 2-way network.
