IRVINE, Calif.-U.S. AirWaves Inc. has hired Fluor Daniel Inc. to provide design, engineering, site selection, procurement, installation, program management and construction management services for building a personal communications services network.
Bellevue, Wash.-based U.S. AirWaves plans to participate in the upcoming C-block auctions for PCS. The company intends to construct its system immediately once licenses are granted.
“The build-out phase will be critical to the competitive success of our system,” said U.S. AirWaves President John DeFeo. “Our agreement provides significant strength in getting the systems installed with quality and speed as priorities.”
