YORBA LINDA, Calif.-Comarco Inc. announced it has received its first major European purchase order to provide Italy with wireless communications field measurement equipment.
The company said the purchase order is valued at nearly $1 million. Delivery of the equipment is expected to be completed this year.
“We recently completed beta testing in Europe for the overseas air interface versions (Global System for Mobile communications and Extended Total Access Communications System) of our network optimization products, and are pleased to see an initial positive reaction,” said Don Bailey, Comarco’s spokesman. “Our staff has been aggressively marketing all major European cellular carriers, and this opportunity will assist our goal of expanding into other countries.”
