ORLANDO-Motorola Inc.’s Wireless Data Group business unit, AirMobile Software Products, announced it has extended AirMobile wireless software for Lotus cc: Mail and AirMobile wireless software for Lotus Notes to the Cellular Digital Packet Data network.
Motorola said mobile cc: Mail and Notes users now have the flexibility to use several major networks including CDPD, DataTAC and Mobitex. The applications enable mobile users to wirelessly communicate with their land area network-based cc: Mail or Notes server from virtually any location, Motorola said.
“Our goal is to enable corporations to enjoy the significant benefits of wireless communication by making it easy and cost-effective for them to deploy wireless solutions,” said Jerry Upton, director of AirMobile Software Products, Motorola.
