ALEXANDRIA, Va.-Metrocall Inc. announced it will acquire the assets of Satellite Paging and Message Network under a definitive purchase agreement reached between the companies.
The total purchase price for all of the assets of both companies will be about $28 million in cash subject to adjustment for certain defined performance criteria.
Metrocall said its purchase of Satellite Paging will add about 60,000 subscribers to its New York and New Jersey customer base, while the acquisition of Message Network will add about 50,000 subscribers to Metrocall’s Florida market.
