LITTLE CHUTE, Wis.-Airadigm Communications, which holds C-block personal communications services licenses in 13 basic trading areas comprising most of Wisconsin and part of Iowa, announced it has selected Global System for Mobile communications technology for its wireless telecommunications services.
“After a lot of deliberation and analysis of all the benefits and shortcomings of the leading technologies, we decided that GSM could deliver the best service to our customer base,” said George Benson, chairman and chief executive officer of Airadigm Communications. “PCS is the most advanced telecommunications technology available. Its use of digital transmission signals delivers superb voice quality while protecting against fraud and eavesdropping.”
Airadigm said its choice of GSM will reduce buildout time, limit costs and allow the company to be the first PCS provider in its markets.
