INFOCELLULAR SUPPLIES SPRINT SPEC TRUM L.P. WITH SOFTWARE SYSTEM

WAYLAND, Mass.-InfoCellular Inc. said it will supply Sprint Spectrum L.P. with its InfoCell Plus software system, which supports customer acquisition, point-of-sale functions, an inventory control system, a sales management system, management information and a financial control system.

Sprint Spectrum plans to implement InfoCell Plus in its nationwide personal communications services network, said InfoCellular of Wayland, Mass.

InfoCell allows carriers to reduce customer acquisition time at the point of sale. Once a sales agent enters the customer’s relevant data, InfoCell Plus processes a credit check on-line, adds subscription information, accepts several forms of payment, produces a contract and initiates cellular service.
