CARRIER INTRODUCES FREE LONG DIS TANCE AS PART OF NEW PLAN

FORT WAYNE, Ind.-Centennial Cellular Corp. has introduced a new call package plan to its customers in Indiana, Michigan and Ohio.

In addition to bundling a number of minutes into a flat monthly fee, the new plans include free long-distance service to Indiana, lower Michigan, western Ohio and Chicago. The plans also allow the inclusion of additional users, called Companions, that share the minutes, a boon to multi-users and business, said Centennial.

The company said its service plan series, called Personal Communications Service plan, contains from 30 to 1,200 minutes of airtime with additional minutes billed at rates of 30 cents per minute, depending on the package.
