IRVINE, Calif.-Subscriber Computing Inc., a provider of management solutions for the wireless industry, has completed the installation of the first Unix version of SCI’s Intelligent Message Router for Western Wireless Corp.
The system also incorporates an FTAM interface, the standard transfer protocol used throughout Europe and incorporated in Northern Telecom Inc.’s hot billing server, said SCI. Western Wireless will use the new system for billing in its VoiceStream Wireless personal communications services markets.
