EL DORADO HILLS, Calif.-International Billing Services will provide statement processing and presentment services to Powertel Inc. for its new base of personal communications services customers, under a five-year agreement.
Powertel, a wholly owned subsidiary of InterCel Inc., is a PCS provider licensed to offer service to more than 16 million people in 10 southeastern states. The company said it plans to deploy its PCS system using Global System for Mobile Communications technology.
International Billing Services is a USCS company, whose clients include cable television, wireless and landline telephony, direct broadcast satellite and multiple communications services operators.
