WAUKESHA, Wis.-Metrix Inc., along with Itronix, Ram Mobile Data USA L.P. and Racotek Corp. have started a marketing relationship to offer a fully integrated, wireless remote service management solution.
Wireless capability provides real-time communications and access to information for remote service workers, minimizing customer downtime and increasing technician productivity, Metrix said.
The solution is based on Metrix’s remote field service software application, Techlink for Windows. Racotek’s KeyWare data mobility creates the interface between Techlink and Ram Mobile Data’s nationwide two-way wireless data communications network, which uses packet data technology. Itronix supplies portable handheld and notebook computers that run the Techlink application.
The companies launched their partnership Oct. 1 with the first of 12 seminars in North America called, “The CyberService Revolution: Achieving Breakthrough Results Through Wireless Automation.” The seminar introduces and defines the solution.
