NEW YORK-PriCellular Corp. formed a wholly owned subsidiary, PC Telecommunications Inc., to resell cellular and paging services in markets adjacent to the company’s cellular systems.
The company said it plans to begin reselling wireless services in the northern portions of the New York metropolitan statistical area, including Putnam, Westchester and Rockland counties.
“We believe cellular and paging resale are attractive incremental businesses that, over time, will add additional cash flow to the company,” said Robert Price, president of PriCellular Corp. “We believe that the continued rapid growth of cellular coupled with reselling other telecommunication services will enhance shareholder value.”
