WINTER PARK, Fla.-Communications Electronics Specialties said it has changed its name to CES Wireless Technologies. The company also released a 1997 product catalog and launched a web site.

“The new name better reflects the products and systems designed and manufactured by the company, which was founded in 1974,” said Pat Lohan, vice president and general manager of CES. “The new product catalog and the web site are convenient information sources for our thousands of customers worldwide.”

The company recently released a series of mobile data, truck tracking, global positioning system, status and computer dispatch software systems. The new products are meant to complement the company’s existing microphones, telephone interconnects, trunking controllers, ANI and fleet management products.
