LISLE, Ill.-Tellabs Inc. said it will supply its Martis DXX managed access and transport network solution to P Plus Communications Ltd., a personal communications services licensee in Hong Kong. The system will be deployed throughout P Plus Communications’ Digital Cellular System 1800 network.
“To help achieve the target of rolling out a DCS 1800 service in Hong Kong by mid-1997, we considered the Tellabs Martis DXX system to offer the best possible service quality in a multivendor leased line and radio link environment,” said Kari Marttinen, technical director at P Plus Communications. “It also allows us to achieve total control over all areas of transmission network operations.”
