LONG-DISTANCE FEES OUT IN TENNESSEE

NASHVILLE, Tenn.-Cellular One said it is eliminating long distance charges to most Tennessee customers calling anywhere in the United States with its nationwide local calling service.

Any calls originating in a subscriber’s home calling area will be billed at local airtime rates, the company said. The service is available to new and existing Cellular One customers for $5 a month. The company said the service will significantly reduce the monthly cost for travelers.
