ENGLEWOOD, Colo.-GTE Telecommunications Services Inc. will use T-Netix Inc.’s Voice Verifi-Air speaker verification technology to help fight fraud, according to a contract entered into by both of the companies.
Englewood, Colo.-based T-Netix has custom engineered the system, which will be integrated with GTE TSI’s FraudForce services.
GTE TSI said it will phase the Voice Verifi-Air system in after it completes a customer and system evaluation of the product. The testing is scheduled to begin this spring.
Voice Verifi-Air is an application of T-Netix’s SpeakEZ Voice Print technology. SpeakEX Voice Print technology is designed specifically for the wireless switched network.
