PAOLI, Pa.-Orga Card Systems Inc. announced it will debut several products supporting Global System for Mobile communications networks at the Cellular Telecommunications Industry Association’s Wireless ’97 show this week in San Francisco.
The company will be displaying its new Unix-based over-the-air Subscriber Identity Module data downloading software, a Windows-based toolkit and OTA express gateway.
Orga also is presenting an enhanced version of its SIM Simulator, which tests the logical and electrical characteristics of the interface between Phase 2 SIMs and GSM handsets.
A version 2.3 upgrade of the Dr. Sim Phase 2 point-of-sale device-which allows instant reprogramming of Phase 2 GSM SIM cards-will be introduced, as well.
Orga’s SIM Simulator has been accepted by the GSM MoU Buyer’s Group for this type of testing, added the company.
