SAN JOSE, Calif.-Digital Microwave Corp. received an order for digital microwave radios from Mutiara Telecom of Malaysia. The company values the agreement at $17.8 million.
Digital Microwave agreed to supply 13 GHz and 18 GHz radios from its Spectrum II and Quantum family of products. The radios will be used to expand Mutiara’s nationwide personal communications services network to support 400,000 subscribers.
Deliveries are scheduled to begin immediately, and the expansion is expected to be completed by October.
