SEATTLE-AirTouch Cellular said it expanded its Powerband Digital Service offering to customers in 30 locations through 11 Puget Sound retailers.
AirTouch customers living in western Washington already had access to the service.
Services available with Powerband include voice mail with notification, paging, Internet and e-mail text messaging and caller ID.
The digital cellular system is based on 13 kilobit Code Division Multiple Access technology.
