LGI ORDERS $4M SYSTEM IN KOREA

ANAHEIM, Calif.-LG Information and Communications Ltd. placed an order valued at $4 million with Odetics for K-Star II wireless synchronization systems used in Code Division Multiple Access base station synchronization of Korea’s digital cellular telephone systems and personal communications services networks.

The equipment supplied by Odetics uses global positioning system technology to provide reliable time and frequency synchronization, said Odetics. The agreement builds on previous agreements between the companies.
