HAUPPAUGE, N.Y.-Microwave Power Devices Inc. announced it received a $6.6 million order from Lucent Technologies Inc. for Code Division Multiple Access-based personal communications services amplifiers. Shipments are expected to be completed in the second quarter of 1998.
Microwave Power Devices said this is the fifth such order Lucent has placed with the company for the amplifiers, totaling more than 23,500 units.
