FRAMINGHAM, Mass.-Police Emergency Radio Services Inc. announced that in collaboration with King Communications USA, Orlando, Fla., it has successfully integrated the King KDT-5000 mobile data system with the ESP504/520 series of 220 MHz mobile radio equipment from SEA.
The company said the integration will allow users to receive full mobile data capability 50-percent faster and for hundreds of dollars less than the ESP520D. The combination is being in-system tested on 220 MHz sites operated by Police Emergency Radio Services on its Intellicomm network. Additionally, the company announced an agreement with Smartlink Development L.P. to develop an enhanced operating environment for wide-area mobile data solutions, as it uses Smartlink’s SMRLink platform in its network.
