WETHERSFIELD, Conn.-Shared Technologies Cellular Inc. announced it signed an agreement appointing Worldwide Direct Inc. an exclusive authorized distributor of STC’s prepaid service, called CellEase.
Under the agreement, Worldwide Direct will develop, produce and maintain a national television marketing campaign for CellEase using the “short-form” direct response format, and will market it to national retail accounts. Additionally, Worldwide Direct will bundle the service with Philips Communications’ ISIS phones. Shared Technologies, in turn, will offer customer support and maintain a toll-free activation number.
Worldwide Direct offers direct response television marketing for service and technology products, emphasizing telecom services. Shared Technologies is a national cellular reseller and agent for several cellular carriers.
