PCS ONE KICKS OFF IN PENNSYLVANIA

LANCASTER, Pa.-PCS One, a joint venture of D&E Communications and Omnipoint Corp., launched personal communications services in Central Pennsylvania, which the operator said is the first PCS service in the area.

This area of the state is one of the first rural markets in the United States to gain access to Global System for Mobile communications technology, added PCS One.

“PCS streamlines all your communications needs – whether they be telephone, paging, fax mail, weather information, stock quotes, and so on-and provides instant and easy access all in one unit without the frustrations and limitations of traditional cellular services,” said Robert Quaranta, chief executive officer of PCS One.
